Advanced Class Dress Code
FEMALE
-
Hair in a bun, or similar style compatible with the length and texture of the student’s hair. Bangs must be pulled back off the face. If dyed, hair must be dyed a color that looks natural. (No pink hair, etc.)

Any solid black leotard. (The uniform leotard may be required for performances.)

Classical Pink Capezio 9C or Ballet Pink Bodywrappers A45 seamed tights. Alternatively skin tone seamed tights may be substituted for the uniform tights.

Any ballet slippers or pointe shoes, matching the student's tights. (Skin tone tights must be worn with skin tone shoes. Pink tights must be worn with pink shoes.)

If needed, bra and/or underwear may be worn under the uniform leotard for support or modesty. These foundation garments must be black or nude and should be discreetly hidden under the leotard.

Leg warmers that match your tights may be worn during barre work.

Solid black warm-ups may be worn OVER your leotard and tights for contemporary and stretch/conditioning classes.

A Black Bullet Pointe Short Pull-On Ballet Skirt, Black Mariia “Polina” Pull-On Skirt, Black Yumiko Isabelle Short Pull-On Skater Skirt or Black Suffolk High Low Skirt or Slink Skirt may be worn for rehearsals, pointe classes, and during the student’s menstrual cycle, if desired.

Black Natalie 4-Layer Ballet Tutu for rehearsals.
MALE

Long hair must be secured off the face. If dyed, hair must be dyed a color that looks natural. (No pink hair, no blue hair, etc.) No facial hair.

Black ballet shoes.

Black footed tights.

Black or white fitted shirt.

Dance belt.

Leg warmers that match your tights may be worn during barre work.

*Students with a Conservatory schedule conflict on Wednesdays can substitute the Monday 4:45-5:15pm Level 5 Stretch/Conditioning class or Thursday 4:45-5:15pm Level 4 Stretch/Conditioning class.
