Project Ballet offers four different club opportunities to our students in the Academic Conservatory and Ballet Training Levels 4+. Please read on to learn more about our clubs!

Project Ballet 4H Club - The PB Pioneers

Facilitated by: Mrs. Anne Fernandes (annefernan1@gmail.com)

Who is invited to join: All academic students, all ballet students, and siblings, kindergarten through age 18.

Meetings: One Friday morning each month, sometimes at PB, sometimes at a field trip location. The first meeting will be on September 17 at 10:00am. It will be a field trip to the new LC Nature Park just southwest of Fort Wayne for a hike to see their bison and elk. 

Commitment/Information 4H is a volunteer-led, nation-wide organization that provides kids with positive, hands-on learning experiences on a variety of topics (agriculture, nature, art, music, creative writing, etc.). Students also have the option of participating in local 4H competitions during the summer months. This club is open to all Project Ballet families. Project Ballet Running Club

Facilitated by: Miss Hannah Moore (coaching@projectballet.org)

Who is invited to join: Ballet students in Level 4 and up.

Meetings: Every Tuesday and Friday from 12:15-12:45pm. 

Commitment/Information Build stamina and endurance, relieve stress and warm-up for ballet class by participating in 1-2 mile outdoor jogs on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12:15-12:45pm. Attend as often as you are able, one or both days per week. 

How to join: Email Miss Hannah (coaching@projectballet.org) to sign-up. Meet her in the lobby of PB at 12:15pm on Tuesdays and Fridays. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and a supportive pair of proper running shoes. Ask Miss Hannah if you need shoe recommendations. 

Project Ballet Culture Club

Facilitated by: Mrs. Jennifer Frank (frank@projectballet.org)

Who is invited to join: All academic students as well as ballet students in Level 4 and up.

Meetings: One Friday each month, at PB, from approx. 10:30-11:30am. Virtual options will be offered for member students who cannot attend in person.

Commitment/InformationBroaden your understanding of our world! Each meeting will focus on teaching students about a

specific country or region of the world. We plan to have guest presenters, as well as many interactive activities.

How to join: Please contact Mrs. Frank (frank@projectballet.org) if you are interested in joining, if you have questions, or if you would

like to volunteer to present at one of the meetings! We invite parents, grandparents and friends of PB to share about their own cultural stories and backgrounds.

Project Ballet Student Council

Facilitated by: Mrs. Jennifer Frank (frank@projectballet.org)

Who is invited to join: All academic students as well as ballet students in Level 4 and up.

Meetings: One Friday each month, at PB, from approx. 10:30-11:30am. Virtual options will be offered for member students who cannot attend in person.

Commitment/InformationMembers of the student council help to make decisions regarding school improvement projects,

social events and they serve as a voice for their fellow classmates.

How to join: You must be elected in order to become a member. If you would like to run for student council, please prepare a short speech (1 minute or less) in which you explain why you would be a good nominee. Academic students will present their speeches during a school meeting the second week of school. Ballet students will present their speeches at a meeting at 3:15pm on Wednesday, September 15. After the presentation of the speeches, the student body will vote to select 2 lower school students, 2 upper school students and 3 ballet students to join the student council.
