REHEARSAL SCHEDULING REQUEST

From Handbook Page 25:

Unexcused absences are not permitted for rehearsals. However, in some circumstances, the rehearsal schedule can be adjusted to allow for special requests. For example, if your child has a mandatory Confirmation retreat on Saturday morning and could make it to rehearsals after 2pm, we may be able to adjust the schedule to make sure their rehearsal is later in the afternoon on that particular date. Likewise, if your family has a wedding to attend at 4pm, we may be able to adjust the schedule so that your child's rehearsal is scheduled to be finished by 3pm. This form must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the requested date. Request forms will be considered in the order they are received and cannot be guaranteed. Please note that we cannot accept requests for an entire Saturday off from rehearsal, nor can we accept multiple day requests (such as vacations). Often, weekday requests can be accommodated for upper level students. It is acceptable to request a weekday off.

We will make every effort to honor your request, but if your request cannot be honored due to scheduling or logistical complications, your child will still be required to attend their rehearsal as scheduled, or be permanently dismissed from the cast. Please do not sign-up to perform if you do not have enough flexibility in your schedule to make rehearsals work.

Mrs. McLeish will reply via email once she has an idea of whether or not the request can be accommodated.
