2022 Full Day Intensive

Summer is the perfect time to further your training, sharpen your skills, and grow as an artist. The Project Ballet full day intensive has become a hub for young dancers nation-wide who are interested in a serious pre-professional summer training environment.

Enrollment and Level Placement:

The Full-Day Intensive is for dancers ages 10 and up who have been placed in Project Ballet Levels 4, 5 or Advanced (or equivalent*). Students enroll by-the-week and may enroll in as few as one, or as many as all seven weeks. Students will be split into two levels each week. The levels will not necessarily correspond to school-year level placement. Levels will be newly divided up each week based on the demographic of students enrolled for that particular week and the best use of studio capacity limits for that particular group of students.

*Guest or new students should contact the Artistic Director (mcleish@projectballet.org) to arrange for a virtual or in-person level placement evaluation.

Schedule:

Each week will include 25 hours of classes, including ballet technique, pointe, men's, contemporary, cross training, and variations/repertory. Classes will be taught by Project Ballet faculty and alumni. Students will have a 45 minute lunch break mid-day.

Tuition:

Tuition is $275 per week for students who were enrolled at Project Ballet for the 2021-22 school year. Tuition is $325 per week for new or guest dancers. A minimum $50 deposit is due a registration. A payment plan option will be available at check-out. Tuition is non-refundable except in the case of documented illness or injury documented by a doctor's note. A doctor's note must be produced by 4:00pm on the Friday prior to the Monday of the intensive week starting, if a refund is to be given. Please note, if the intensive is canceled by Project Ballet, then a full tuition refund would be provided to all registrants.

Parent Observation:

All classes on Fridays will be open for in-person parent observation. Due to studio space limitations, we can only permit one observer, per dancer, per class. However, dancers will have 3-5 classes scheduled each Friday, and dancers may invite an observer into each class, as desired.
