Training Program - Level 4

ELIGIBILITY FOR LEVEL 4

Dancers must be evaluated or recommended by the Artistic Director for promotion or admission to the fourth level of the Training Program. New students with previous experience must be evaluated by the Artistic Director before enrolling. Please email mcleish@projectballet.org to schedule an evaluation.

COMMITMENT REQUIRED OF LEVEL 4

It is strongly recommended that dancers in Level 4 enroll in five days of training per week. Some students may be ready for six days per week of training at this level, however we caution parents to consider their child’s physical development, emotional maturity and overall scheduling load before deciding to commit to six days per week of training. Students also do have the flexibility to enroll in less than five days per week, however it is important to understand that enrolling in less than five days of training per week will result in a diminished rate of progress and improvement. The bare minimum commitment is three days of training per week. Due to the daytime scheduling requirements of Level 4, dancers will need to seek alternative academic arrangements, such as what is offered through our on-site Academic Conservatory.

ENROLLING IN LEVEL 4

Enrollment is completed through an on-line application process and indicates a commitment for the entire school year. Parents will be required to select the specific classes their child will be attending as well as indicate whether or not they will choose to perform in the Nutcracker, the Variations Showcase and the Spring Concert. There is a non-refundable enrollment reservation fee due at the time of application. Enrollment is limited. Please email mcleish@projectballet.org for enrollment consideration and further information.
