Training Program - Level 2

ELIGIBILITY FOR LEVEL 2

Dancers must be evaluated or recommended by the Artistic Director for promotion or admission to the second level of the Training Program. New students with previous experience must be evaluated by the Artistic Director before enrolling. Please email mcleish@projectballet.org to schedule an evaluation.

COMMITMENT REQUIRED OF LEVEL 2

It is recommended that dancers enroll in three or four classes per week to maintain a normal rate of progress, however you have the flexibility to enroll in only one or two classes per week, if desired. Please understand that enrolling in less than three classes per week will result in a diminished rate of progress and improvement. In addition to weekly classes, all Level 2 dancers are eligible to participate in our Nutcracker performance in December. Further, those Level 2 dancers who are enrolled in at least three weekly classes are also eligible to participate in our Spring Concert in May. Performances are optional and require an additional time commitment and fee. Class time is never used to rehearse for performances.

ENROLLING IN LEVEL 2

Enrollment is completed through an on-line application process and indicates a commitment for the entire school year. Parents will be required to select the specific classes their child will be attending as well as indicate whether or not they will choose to perform in the Nutcracker and the Spring Concert. There is a non-refundable enrollment reservation fee due at the time of application. Enrollment is limited. Mondays 5:00-6:00pm

Tuesdays 5:45-6:45pm

Wednesdays 5:45-6:45pm

Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm

Saturdays 11:45am-12:45pm* (girls) or 12:00-12:45pm** (boys)

*The Saturday girls class may not be taken as a stand alone class. Students must be enrolled in at least one other weekly class in order to take the Saturday girls class. The Saturday girls class is taught by our Artistic Director, Mrs. McLeish.
**Complimentary boys only class. May not be taken as a stand alone class. Students must be enrolled in at least one other weekly class in order to take the boys only class.

+In addition, Level 2 students have the option to drop-in to our daily open classes. Please see the open class schedule for more information.

TUITION FOR LEVEL 2

Tuition for Level 2 begins at $430 annually. Monthly payments plans are available. Tuition increases as additional classes and performance opportunities are added to the student's schedule.
