DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP

Parents should bring their child into the Project Ballet lobby and wait for class to begin. Please plan to arrive about five minutes early to change into ballet shoes and take off your coat, etc. A minute or two before class is scheduled to start, our staff will take attendance and have the children line-up in the lobby to head into the classroom. Once the children have left with their teacher to begin class, parents are free to leave or you may wait in our lobby for the duration of the class. Please make sure to return promptly at the end of class. Your child's teacher will bring them back out to the lobby when class is over.

PARENT OBSERVATION

The last (ninth) class of the session will be a mini performance and recognition ceremony, open for observation by family and friends. Observation attendees will be able to video record and take photographs during class.

DRESS CODE

Male dancers are required to wear a plain white undershirt style short-sleeve or long-sleeve t-shirt, black basketball shorts, white socks, and black or white ballet slippers. Please select a t-shirt size that is not too baggy or oversized, so that the teacher can easily see your child's movements. Ballet slippers can be purchased at Standing Ovation Performance Apparel, at stores such as WalMart or Target, or online. Long hair should be pulled back off the face in a ballet bun, pony tail, or similar style.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

We request that, if possible, parents report their child absent through our online ABSENTEE FORM. There is no specific attendance requirement for Boys Ballet, however please understand that we do not offer make-up classes if your child is absent.
