DESCRIPTION
The Project Ballet Intermediate Intensive is a half-day camp for serious young dancers who are interested in continuing their training throughout the summer months. Dancers will improve their technique through the daily study of ballet technique, supplemented by contemporary dance classes, strength/conditioning classes, and the study of ballet history/repertory.

QUALIFICATIONS
Project Ballet students who have been placed in Levels 2 or 3 for the 2026-2027 school year are eligible for the Intermediate Intensive. Guest dancers with an equivalent level of training would generally be 9-13 years old and accustomed to studying ballet 2-4 days per week. However, at Project Ballet, level placement is based on skill competency, rather than age, so this age range is meant as a guideline, not a restriction. Guest dancers will need to reach out to our Artistic Director, Beth McLeish, to schedule an audition, prior to enrolling: mcleish@projectballet.org

SCHEDULE
The intermediate intensive meets from 9:15am-12:00pm, Monday-Thursday on the following weeks. Students enroll by-the-week, selecting as many or as few weeks as desired. Weeks do not need to be consecutive.
