July 10-13 from 4:30-5:15pm

July 17-20 from 5:45-6:30pm

Preschool Ballet is an engaging, age appropriate, and syllabus-based introduction to ballet for 3-4 year old dancers. Our goal is to teach the children the basics of ballet technique, to teach them proper classroom etiquette, and most importantly - to have them fall in love with ballet.

Open to male and female children ages 3 and 4 years old. Children must be toilet trained. Children must be willing to participate independently without a parent. The class is appropriate for beginners as well as children with previous experience in our preschool classes or other dance classes.

Four day session, meeting for 45 minutes each day. Students will learn classical ballet skills every day, plus a basic introduction to ballet repertory/choreography and ballet history.

Parents should bring their child into the Project Ballet lobby and wait for class to begin. Please plan to arrive about five minutes early to change into ballet shoes and use the restroom, etc. A minute or two before class is scheduled to start, our staff will take attendance and have the children line-up in the lobby to head into the classroom. Once the children have left with their teacher to begin class, parents are free to leave or you may wait in our lobby. Please make sure to return promptly at the end of the 45 min class. Your child's teacher will bring them back out to the lobby when camp is over.

The last 15 minutes of class on Thursday will be open for parent observation. We will show you our new ballet skills and a short dance that we prepared for the performance!

All participants are required to wear ballet slippers. The dress code for our Preschool level is very relaxed. Students are permitted to wear any comfortable clothing that allows them to move comfortably and modestly. Many children wear leotards and tutus, but play clothes or athletic clothes are perfectly fine. The only specific dress code requirement is that they wear ballet slippers (any color). Long hair must be secured back off the face.

Each session is $50 for a 4-day session. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferrable. In the case of illness or injury, there will not be a virtual option and your child will not receive a make-up lesson.
